Air from Kunming
Kunming is the main airport for cut flowers by air. Flowers are gathered in Tonghai, cooled, and taken to the flight. The Russia supply page lists air as 2–3 days. The Almaty market page lists about two days. That is a published range, not a slot on your date.
The flight, the airline, and whether it accepts fresh cut flowers are named after the request. A timetable by itself is not permission to export the lot or to clear it on arrival.
Air from Urumqi
For some Central Asian destinations a departure from Urumqi is checked. An airport named in correspondence promises nothing. The airline may refuse flowers, and the cargo may not be cleared on arrival. That already happened with one proposed flight to Yerevan. It was not confirmed.
City, airport code, and the carrier’s acceptance are checked together. The site has no separate “Urumqi to your city” timing, so the arrival day is not named before a booking.
Road through Khorgos
Road lots into Kazakhstan and onward to Russia are often discussed through Khorgos. It is one crossing, not the only one, and not the route of every truck. Other crossings have appeared in earlier plans, so the border is not assigned in advance.
The Almaty page lists truck at about five days. That figure belongs to the market page, not to the time through Khorgos. Which crossing, which refrigerated truck, and how long this truck takes are written when the carrier has named them.
Cold chain
The Russia and Kazakhstan pages record the cold chain as 48–72 hours. One older description of air packing mentioned ice packs and a transit room around 3–5 °C. That is a trace of that shipment, not a mode for every variety.
A short connection is not always better than a long one. If there is little time between legs, flowers can stand on the apron instead of in a cold room. Temperature and waiting time for this lot are checked with the carrier, not from a general line on the site.
Phytosanitary papers and import
For Russia the site names a phytosanitary certificate and a fumigation certificate. For Kazakhstan, a phytosanitary certificate for import. The list for your city can be different. The broker says whether an original is required, how many copies, and who the consignee is.
An export check in China does not cancel inspection on arrival. Air usually arrives at the airport. Import there is more often cleared by the buyer or the buyer’s agent.
